Pittsburgh Recast
Nov. 2007 - Sept. 7, 2008
Fourth Floor

The Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators (PSI) has unveiled its latest and most ambitious show to date, Pittsburgh Recast.

Featuring more than 50 illustrations, this exhibit documents the story of an American city steeped in history as it redefines itself from the "smoky city" to the two-time "America's Most Livable City."

Pittsburgh Recast honors Pittsburgh's 250 year history with illustrations of Pittsburgh icons such as Andy Warhol, Billy Conn, and Art Rooney alongside illustrations of the Pittsburgh skyline, steel mills, and influential local artists and professionals.
