A new permanent exhibition opening on Nov. 8, 2008
Throughout its 250 year history, Pittsburgh has been the birthplace of many great inventions and contributions that have changed the world.
In celebration of our region's 250th anniversary, the History Center's new exhibition, Pittsburgh: A Tradition of Innovation, traces the impact of Pittsburgh's innovations and inventors. The 12,000 square-foot permanent exhibit celebrates the 250-year imprint that Pittsburghers have left on our region, nation, and world.
Featured on the History Center's second floor, Innovators will highlight Pittsburgh's top contributions to art, industry, education, sports, technology, science, and much more.

Winner of Pittsburgh 250 Bike Drawing Announced

And the winner is ... Janet Golubski, of Cranberry Township!
Janet works for the U.S. Post Office and rides recreationally with her husband. They are hoping to one day ride the Great Allegheny Passage trail from Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C.
