From small meetings and intimate gatherings, to large trade shows and wedding receptions, our event rooms are designed to accommodate events of every size and style. Our non-traditional atmosphere, central location and competitive rates are just some of the reasons to consider the History Center for your next meeting or event.

  • The first floor Great Hall accommodates several hundred guests in a historic setting that is ideal for corporate events, weddings and other gatherings.


  • The fifth floor Mueller Education Center offers stunning views of Pittsburgh's downtown skyline.


  • In the seventh floor conference room, guests can enjoy the former U.S. Steel boardroom along with the breathtaking downtown skyline.


  • The Senator John Heinz History Center is a unique and memorable venue for events. In addition to enjoying the event that you plan for them, your guests will also travel in time through our exciting exhibits that showcase our history.


    We have an exclusive agreement with Common Plea Catering to provide food and beverage service, as well as linen rentals. A large public parking lot is located conveniently across the street from the History Center, and we can recommend a valet parking service upon request.
